Welcome to the next Twinning Event in Jyväskylä from 21st May to 24th May 2026.
This time, we wanted to organize event with traditional Finnish Summer activities and give you truly time to get to know each other. We will also visit some inspiring local companies and dive into ourselves in workshop held by our own personality expert Riitta Könönen.

5 pm Welcome ceremony at Korpilahti Cottage

Sauna time & Swimming in cold Finnish lake
Friday, May 22
Company visit to Pusu (wooden skis & ski gear manufacturer) and Jade Boats (premium picnic boat & yacht manufacturer). Also another sweet surprise visit is in progress.
Lunch at Verso with story of company’s success.
Team activities across Jyväskylä. Sightseeing main attractions of the city.
Dinner at city center
During the day, there will also be some free time at the City Center of Jyväskylä
Saturday, May 23
Short and easy trip to nature where we will enjoy some lunch food too.
Workshop about inner reflection, different kind of personality types and how you can make that your strength.
Farewell evening at luxurious Riihikarhu cottages in Muurame hills. Pizza & wine type of dinner. Including multipul different saunas & hot tubs. Check the cottage here: https://riihikarhu.fi/en/
Notice! You do not need to book home hospitality or a hotel for this last night. We all will stay at cottages.

How to travel to Jyväskylä?
We recommend you to fly first to Helsinki and then take train (VR) to Jyväskylä. If you have time, you can spend day or two also in Helsinki.
Good hotels in Jyväskylä
JCI Jyväskylä will offer you home hospitality, but if you prefer hotel, here some recomendations: Verso Hotel is in the heart of Jyväskylä. It is also famous for its good breakfast. GreenStar Hotel Jyväskylä is good choice for budget traveler. There are also lots of nice Airbnb’s etc.
Weather in May
In late May, it is usually quite sunny and ”warmish” here Jyväskylä. In the best scenario, we will get summer temperatures during the the day but it can get little bit cold during the evenings. Please take some warm clothes too.
